🇹🇩⚡️ — Clashes erupted near the mineral-rich town of Miski in the northern Chad region of Tibesti between the Special Mining Brigade, a Chadian paramilitary organization affiliated with the army, and the Miski self-defense committee, a local armed group that opposes the government exploitation of the mines due to what it qualifies as an unfair repartition of its generated revenue.

According to local reports and sources affiliated with the Chadian opposition, three Chadian officers were killed, including Colonel Youssouf Yahya Mougou, the head of military intelligence for the Tibesti region, and 9 other soldiers were wounded.
