🇷🇴⚡️ — Preliminary reports indicate 1 UAV, likely Russian, struck the YARA J chemical/oil tanker at Romania's Sulina Canal, located within Romania's territorial waters. 2 UAVs were detected on radar; 1 UAV flew back to strike Ukraine, and another disappeared right as a fire began on the ship.

If this was a Russian UAV, this is the first time a Russian UAV struck a ship located in NATO territorial waters. UAVs have struck ships in NATO EEZs, but not direct territorial waters.
