🇮🇷🇸🇬🇦🇬⚡️ — The Singapore-flagged container ship GFS Pride has sunk near the Strait of Hormuz after being struck by a projectile, according to Reuters, citing maritime sources.

The vessel, with a capacity of 2,824 TEU, went down with shipping containers floating in the surrounding waters. The GFS Pride is the second vessel to sink since the U.S.-Iran war began on February 28, according to IMO data.

The Antigua and Barbuda-flagged bulk carrier Cape Dao is also sinking near the strait after an unsuccessful salvage operation. The vessel was initially struck by a projectile on September 23.
