“Do you want to see our deep state?” Netanyahu asked, adding, “I am the Prime Minister of Israel. There was an Egyptian intelligence minister here. He was here for 59 minutes on the ground. I want to know with whom he met.”
When asked whether he knew whom the Egyptian official had met, Netanyahu responded, “No, I don’t know. I’m trying to know.”
He criticized the lack of information available to him, saying he was once again turning to Israel’s security establishment for answers.
