🇺🇸🇷🇺⚡️ — Seven bipartisan U.S. senators, led by Senate Foreign Relations Committee Ranking Member Jeanne Shaheen, have accused President Trump of violating a 2022 law banning Russian energy imports by authorizing Russian diesel shipments to the U.S.

The senators, including Republicans Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Thom Tillis, and John Curtis, alongside Democrats Richard Blumenthal and Ron Wyden, argued that the administration failed to consult Congress or provide the legally required justification for its decision.

They warned that allowing Russian diesel imports will provide Moscow with additional revenue to finance its war in Ukraine and demanded that the Trump administration immediately reverse the authorization.
