🇮🇷🇾🇪⚡️ — UKMTO has published additional information on the maritime incident reports it received in the Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, and the Bab el-Mandeb Strait over the past 48 hours.

The oil tanker near Qatar yesterday was struck by 3 IRGC Navy one-way attack UAVs, causing a temporary fire in the engine room and the injury of one crewmember. The ship was able to continue on its journey.

The oil tanker in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait was not damaged; an explosion occured within 100 meters of the ship, it is unknown why.

All vessels reported as coming under fire by UKMTO in the Strait of Hormuz were able to continue their journey, while the fate of the vessel reported by the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is unknown. However, 1 vessel aborted its transit after being hailed by the IRGC Navy and told to reverse course or be targeted.
