🇺🇸⚡️ — A person was shot during an encounter with ICE agents in the Bronx, New York, on Thursday afternoon, CNN reports.

ICE agents opened fire shortly after 4 p.m. while attempting to apprehend a targeted individual. The person was hospitalized with injuries described as non-life-threatening and remained conscious.

Two federal agents were also injured during the encounter and taken to a hospital for treatment.
