🇰🇪⚡️ — Kenya is now on high alert and is now undergoing preparations for additional surveillance and sanitary measures following the first Ebola death on its soil.

The victim, a Kenyan citizen who previously lived in the DRC before leaving via a flight from Kampala in Uganda to Nayrobi, died 48 hours after being taken into medical urgency.

Eight family members of the victim, alongside the 21 medical staff who took care of him, were placed in immediate quarantine, while the state is actively reaching out to the passengers of the victim's flight.
