🇺🇸⚡️ — New NYT/Siena polls show Democrats competitive in five traditionally Republican Senate states one month before the midterm elections.

Democrats lead by seven points in Alaska, six in Texas and three in Ohio, while Kansas is tied and Republicans lead by one point in Iowa. Trump won all five states by double digits in 2024.

The polls point to dissatisfaction with Trump, the Iran war, rising gas prices and the cost of living as factors behind the shift.

Across the five states, Trump has a 40% approval rating, while 57% view him unfavorably.
