🇺🇸❌🇮🇷 — The U.S. Treasury has expanded "Operation Economic Outcast" with new sanctions targeting Iran’s automotive, rail, manufacturing, and steel sectors, which Washington says have become increasingly important as Iran’s oil revenues decline under the U.S. naval blockade.

The Treasury issued new sectoral sanctions authorities covering Iran’s automotive and rail industries and designated major automakers, including Iran Khodro, SAIPA, Iran Khodro Diesel, Pars Khodro, Zamyad, and two Niroo Motor companies.

Foreign suppliers in Indonesia, the UAE, Türkiye, and Hong Kong were also sanctioned for allegedly supplying automotive components to Iranian manufacturers and helping sustain their international procurement networks.
