🇺🇸⚡️ — U.S. Navy announces a "mishap" occured while an aircraft was landing on the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower at 6:18 PM EDT on September 28, causing two naval aviators to eject and subsequently be rescued by search & rescue personnel off the coast of Norfolk, Virginia, where the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower is stationed.

The accident also caused four sailors on board the aircraft carrier to be injured. One sailor was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
