🇸🇾🇮🇱⚡️ — Damascus and Aleppo international airports have resumed nighttime flights after Israel quietly lifted its opposition to the activation of essential navigation equipment, according to MEE.

Syrian authorities announced the installation of navigation systems that allow aircraft to land at night and in poor visibility. However, regional officials said the equipment had remained inactive for more than six months because Israel threatened to shoot down aircraft conducting the required calibration flights within 50 km of Damascus airport.

The issue was resolved after technicians determined the tests could be conducted within a 25 km radius instead. Syria notified Israel of the revised flights, and Israeli authorities raised no further objections.
