🇸🇾🇮🇶⚡️ — Gasoline shipments are now moving from Syria to Iraq by road, establishing a two-way energy corridor after the Iran war disrupted shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Reuters.

The first shipment, approximately 32,800 metric tons of gasoline, arrived aboard the Marshall Islands-flagged tanker Avanti and was unloaded at Syria’s Baniyas refinery before being transferred to trucks.

Syrian officials said 77 tanker trucks have already departed for Iraq, with further deliveries expected.

The operation is being carried out under an agreement involving Syria’s state-owned petroleum company and Qatar’s UCC Holding, which is supplying and transporting the fuel.
