This will include both Iran-aligned militias and Kurdish forces, who are both planned to be fully integrated into Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces and cease to be independent entities.

The interview mostly focuses on how pro-Iran militias will be integrated. It will start with a 90-day period where pro-Iran militias and the United States will not attack each other, then militias will begin handing over weaponry to Iraqi government forces. Any active armed militia after June 30, 2027 will be considered outlaws by the Iraqi government.

Iraq is working on negotiating both a Turkish withdrawal from Iraq and the integration of Kurdish forces into the Iraqi military to satisfy demands from Iran-aligned militias.
