🇺🇸⚡️ — Hacking group ShinyHunters claims to have breached the FBI and stolen personal information belonging to nearly all current and former agents, as well as job applicants.

The group said the attack was retaliation for an FBI advisory issued in May detailing its methods. It released a sample of the claimed stolen data and a screenshot of a defaced FBI recruitment website, which appeared to be experiencing disruptions on Tuesday.

Reuters partially verified personal information in at least nine cases but could not establish whether the data originated from FBI systems. The bureau has not commented on the alleged breach.
