Опубликован выпуск ESP-KVM 0.51.2, открытой прошивки, превращающей плату на микроконтроллере ESP32-P4 в IP-KVM с доступом к экрану, клавиатуре и мыши удалённого компьютера через браузер, без установки агента на управляемую машину. Код написан на языке Си и распространяется под лицензией Apache 2.0. Основное изменение выпуска - запись происходящего на экране цели на карту microSD самого устройства.

Microsoft’s CLI text editor now does syntax highlighting

Edit, Microsoft’s open-source command-line text editor, has a new version out with syntax highlighting, improved regex handling in Find & Replace and new editing shortcuts. Microsoft open-sourced Edit last year. It’s a small, cross-platform t CLI text editor with VS Code-style keybindings, mouse support and an clean terminal user interface (TUI). It lets you open multiple files, handles LF and CRLF line endings and makes sense to novices. Syntax highlighting in Edit v2.0.0 is a big one. ChatGPT moves into Word and makes its Office add-in free for everyone

OpenAI has launched ChatGPT for Microsoft Word, adding a sidebar that can draft, rewrite, proofread, and reorganize documents without sending users to a separate chatbot window. The add-in is available on every ChatGPT plan, including Free, although usage limits still apply.

Вышел Meta Test 2.0

Meta Test это российская программная платформа для создания и запуска автоматизированных тестов веб-приложений людьми без навыков программирования. В основе платформы лежит концепция языково-ориентированного программирования. Для описания тестов используется декларативный предметно-ориентированный язык, что позволяет избавится от создания тестового «фреймворка» и сложных для понимания концепций вроде Page Object Model. Но тем не менее поддерживается исполнения в тестах обычного кода на языке python что позволяет гибко работать с источниками тестовых данных, отправлять API запросы и даже создавать новые команды для встроенного языка. Основные изменения:
Расширения для поддержки браузеров chromium, edge и safari были перенесены из дистрибутива в репозиторий для расширений.
Улучшена система отчётов. Доработан отчёт для allure.
В механизм расширений была добавлена поддержка команд.
Изменено поведение большинства команд, некоторые команды были переименованы.
Добавлены команды для поддержки js-alerts.
Доработан раннер тестов. Добавлена поддержка статистики что позволяет автоматически ранжировать тесты по времени запуска и запускать только упавшие тесты.
Добавлена начальная поддержка HTTP запросов. С их помощью можно напрямую обращаться к веб-серверу минуя взаимодействия с браузером.

Этот механизм в первую очередь предназначен для дополнения браузерного тестирования, а не для создания самостоятельных api-тестов.Например тест приведённый ниже переходит на url http://the-internet.herokuapp.com/download и получает все ссылки находящиеся в контейнере с классом example.
Затем для каждой ссылки выполняется HEAD запрос код статуса которого должен быть равным 200.from metatest import *

The Linux kernel is going to see the removal of a number of recently deprecated ARM 32-bit platforms. Following the deprecation in Linux 7.3, removing the old ARM platforms will lighten the kernel by around 55k lines of code. But removing now unused drivers only relevant to those platforms will mean roughly a quarter million lines of code can be removed from the kernel source tree...
