DDR5 laptop memory prices jump sixfold as Schenker raises prices

DDR5 SO-DIMM prices have increased sixfold since July 2025, prompting Schenker to raise prices for most XMG gaming laptops by €100 to €200. The company expects memory shortages to continue through 2027 and beyond, adding pressure to organizations planning laptop and workstation purchases.
