Banshee music player is back from the dead

A revived Banshee music player is now available on the Snap store – purely as an act of software preservation. The snap allows Banshee 2.6.2, the final release made in 2014, to run on modern Linux desktops. It even includes ‘compatibility fixes and restores selected online services’, though the listing states not all ‘historical’ features or services may work.
