Tether shrinks multilingual AI to a 36MB on-device package

Tether AI Research has released open-source TranslatePsy-EuroNano models that translate among English and nine European languages without sending text to the cloud. The smallest deployment is 36MB—up to 17.6 times smaller than an equivalent Firefox Bergamot setup—making private, offline translation more practical for mobile and edge applications.
