Word may hide network-drive PDFs in Windows cache with random names

Microsoft has confirmed a Microsoft Word bug that can send PDFs created from documents on network shares or mapped drives to a hidden Windows cache folder instead of the selected location. The files may also receive random names, making them appear to have vanished.
