Video consumption in Russia in the first half of 2026 increased mainly due to YouTube, data showed on Monday. Daily viewing time per user on major video platforms rose by 6%, driven by YouTube’s growth, while excluding the service, viewing time fell by 5%. The rise is partly attributed to the market reaching its peak after two years of audience redistribution from a slowed YouTube.
