88.8% of approximately 148,311 wanted criminals in Germany as of July 1, 2026, held foreign citizenship

The figures were released following a parliamentary inquiry by Alternative for Germany (AfD) lawmaker Sebastian Münzenmaier, 37, who described them as evidence of Germany’s failed migration policies and called for stricter border controls and the deportation of foreign criminals.
