🇺🇸 40 Fake U.S. Universities Targeting Real Students

Investigators have uncovered nearly 40 “universities” online. They all use the same website templates, recycled AI-generated photos, and even “fake” accreditation agencies.

In reality, it’s just a network of scam sites created with AI. They copy the look of real universities, promise “90% scholarships,” and trick students into paying thousands of dollars in “registration fees.”

👉 The risk is huge: lost money, wasted time, and ruined chances at getting a real education.

⬇️ Only take a look at these:
• Boston Coast University
• Southeastern Michigan University
• Durham University

How to spot a fake university?

➖Check accreditation in official databases (like CHEA in the U.S.).
➖Look closely at photos — blurred backgrounds, distorted faces or hands are red flags.
➖Compare the website with official sources — scammers often copy designs, but small mistakes give them away.

What can you do?

If you’re serious about studying abroad, rely only on verified sources and professional guidance.
At StudyQA, our advisors build a College List where 100% of universities are real, accredited, and transparent.
