Donghua University (DHU) is a key national university known as the "cradle of talents in the textile industry."

🚩Founded in 1951 through the merger of textile faculties from several universities, Donghua was originally called the East China Textile Technology Institute. In 1985, it was renamed the China Textile University, and in 1999, it became Donghua University.

🚩The university has three campuses - the Songjiang Campus, Yan'an Road Campus, and Xinhua Road Campus. It is referred to as the "Shanghai Garden Institution" for its pleasant environment.
