it costs about $8 USD per FCU to add WiFi controls to your Mitsubishi AC system (assuming you already have a screwdriver, and are tall enough/have a chair or ladder)
ripped out the dogshit Fermax Vida controller that the developer installed in my FCU, and replaced it with a much smaller M5Stack NanoC6
the M5Stack runs ESPHome (the goat) + the github.com/echavet/MitsubishiCN105ESPHome component
as a side effect, my air conditioner FCU now has WiFi 6
