PTM7950 phase-change thermal pads for the GB10 and the ConnectX-7 NIC, they're supposed to liquefy above 45 degrees
Upsiren UTP-8 thermal putty for the VRAM... I guess it's just a squishy thermal pad alternative. LPDDR5x ain't getting that hot anyway
previously, I would have the CPU hitting 96 degrees while the GPU eats 60W. now the CPU stays at 90 degrees even when the GPU is pulling 100W, so I guess it's working great (even though I'm supposed to thermal cycle it a few times first)
now i probably won't have overheat shutdowns when my room hits 38 degrees ambient
anyway i'm in china again so i'm just ordering random $1 type-c cables, trying to find something that matches up to the magical $1 $2 cables i bought 8 years ago (which still work perfectly well btw)
