zhongfu's inane ramblings jammed an energy meter (Shelly PM Mini Gen3) into my server closet, so now i can be horrified at how much power my home networking + servers are using
and another one - this time the branch to the rest of the sockets are connected to the output of the power meter, so it measures usage of the entire room
it's nice that it happens to have two output terminals i guess. no wire joints needed!

resoldered the positive terminal cable to the right place, but the cable ended up being too short: new cable path in green, old cable path in red, so I'll have to wait for the seller to send me a new cable
but charging at 5A and discharging at 13A sustained seems to work pretty ok, the hottest part is really just the clamp on top (and the cable is probably just conducting the heat down from the terminal)
hopefully this means that charging at 100A will be just fine 😏
