NINE by bsag (but she's a girl)

The Nine is a tiny 18-key split, wireless, ergonomic split keyboard, heavily inspired by Ben Vallack's Piano 2. I tried out his design and loved it, but wanted to tweak the physical layout a bit to fit my hands and my use case better. It uses Nice!Nano V2 BLE-equipped controllers, and (optionally) Nice!View displays to show information like the connected BLE profile, battery level and layer name. You can read more about this keyboard and the design decisions I made here: Introducing the Nine keyboard and Nine keyboard Part 2 - the case.

0xCB-Helios by 0xCB-dev

The 0xCB Helios is an Elite-C compatible MicroController that is based on the RP2040

Helios has 16MB(128Mbit) of flash, Dual ARM Cortex-M0 @ 133MHz, and 264kB SRAM. It features a default off red power LED, a blue user LED, and a level-shifter to drive 5V components. Helios has an ESD protection chip onboard, supports VBUS detection for split keyboards, and you can select VBUS instead of raw for the 5V pin to hook up an external USB port with the included D+ and D- pads while maintaining ESD protection. Another huge advantage is the single button reset circuit which enables you to reset the board with a short click and enter the bootloader with a long (>500ms) click. This backwards compatiblility also enables you to use reset buttons on existing keyboards for both functions. The bootloader is unbrickable as its located in ROM on the rp2040 itself.

Sea-Picro by joshajohnson

Sea-Picro is a RP2040 based board in the Arduino Pro Micro form factor.

Features
* Compatiable with most pro micro based keyboards
* RP2040 microcontroller, with dual M0+ processors at up to 133MHz
* Mid mount USB-C connector, which is low profile and can't be ripped off
* Optional Elite-C style pinout, adding an additional 5 IO for large keyboards
* Single button reset / bootloader circuit which changes behavior based on how long it's held (RP2040 usually requires two buttons to flash new firmware, making it challenging when installed upside down in a keyboard)
* ROM bootloader which prevents board from being bricked
* EXT version has a 5V level shifter and extra pin to drive strings of WS2812 LEDs.
* RST version has a WS2812 LED for use with CircuitPython or as a status indicator on the RST version.
* Onboard power LED.
* IO pinout identical to the Sparkfun RP2040 Pro Micro

The Owl by sapristi

The Owl is a 36-key (diodeless!), MX-spaced, wireless keyboard.

It was forked from the rae-dux (itself inspired by the Architeuthis Dux).

The main difference with the rae-dux is that MX-spacing is used for the keys. This keyboard is also designed with top and bottom plates, so as to protect the MCU and the battery. The mounting holes will fit m3 screws / standoffs.

Note: the top-plate doesn't need the mounting holes, so you could remove them from the kicad files.

Oddball by atulloh

The Oddball is a split mechanical keyboard with an integrated trackball. While drawing inspiration from things like the Jian and the Dactyl Manuform, it is instead designed with a switch plate and PCB to give it durability, replicability, and a more utilitarian look. It has a relatively minimal key layout, typically with 39 keys in total. The PCB is reversible so it can be built with 0, 1 or theoretically 2 trackballs. Due to the height and angle of the optical sensor, and as an ergonomic bonus, it requires a tented case.

Features
* Split design
* 39 keys
* Trackball
* Dynamic CPI (trackball cursor speed)
* 5° typing angle
* 8.5° tenting angle
* Angled thumb clusters
* QMK firmware

Porcupine by anarion80

Porcupine is an autogenerated, ergonomic, split, 36-42 key, wired/wireless, columnar-staggered keyboard. It is designed to fit my needs and my hand, but it can be easily updated thanks to declarative design. It uses a ProMicro-compatible MCU board and supports both QMK and ZMK firmwares.

Features
* Autogenerated - PCB layout is declared using YAML config files and generated into PCB files using Ergogen tool (migrated to V4). Use my fork of it for added footprints.
* 3 variants (5x3+3; 5x3+4; 6x3+4)
* Wired or wireless
* Low-profile (using Kailh Choc switches)
* Reversible PCB (save cost in production)
* Pro-micro/Elite C/Proton C/nice!nano support
* Hot-Swap support
* SplitKB Tenting puck support.
* Uses KiKit to render PCB previews (see below)
* Uses KiBot to run DRC, create Gerber and Drill files for production (and Interactive BOM and 3d renders just for fun)

Pierce v2 by durken1

pierce 2.0 is a split modular wireless / semi-wireless 36 key column staggered keyboard. The design is inspired by Corne with more pinky stagger as well as only using 1u keycaps. It is possible to build a wireless version or a semi wireless version. If building the wireless version an additional reciever dongle is required. In the semi wireless version the wired half is also acting as a reciever for the wireless half. Both versions have full QMK support.

The semi wireless version has a built in reset circuit for connecting a PS/2 pointing device.

There are 3 different PCBs: wireless (reversible), wired (right) and reciever.
