🗳 This meeting will live through the ages. The SOVINTERN delegation visited the CEC of the Russian Federation

⭐️ SOVINTERN's group of observers at the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation today went on a tour of the main body ensuring the coordination and management of the electoral process in the country. The Central Election Commission received the delegation with open arms.

🟨 Aleksandr Yashinov, head of the Legal Department of SOVINTERN's co-initiator party A Just Russia, a member of the CEC of Russia with an advisory vote, familiarized the network's regional coordinators with the work of the Central Election Commission and told them what role SOVINTERN's co-initiator party plays in ensuring the expression of the will of the country's citizens.

📰 The coordinators gave interviews to journalists from Russian federal channels, sharing their impressions of working as observers. Particular emphasis was placed on criticizing Ukraine's actions to intimidate the population of Russia. Today's drone attacks, which resulted in the deaths of three people and 20 injured, were carried out with terrorist aims. According to our comrades, who addressed the citizens of Russia, the best way to demonstrate the strength of spirit and will of the Russian people is, in spite of everything, to come to the polling station and vote.

✴️ The event ended symbolically — with a meeting of two brothers, Aleksandr and Bojan Vulin, from SOVINTERN's co-initiator party, the Movement of Socialists, right at the exit from the CEC building. We will remember this moment for a long time.
