The bill’s economic indicators project 4% GDP growth, an annual inflation rate declining to 18%, a 25.4% wage increase, and a fiscal surplus of 1.3%—marking the fourth consecutive year of such a surplus.

Additionally, the trade balance is forecast to show a surplus exceeding $15 billion, with exports projected to surpass $130 billion; meanwhile, the wholesale dollar exchange rate is expected to close 2026 at 1,600 pesos and end 2027 at 1,847 pesos, with an annual average of 1,728 pesos.

🇦🇷📉 — August inflation in Argentina saw a reduction of 0.4% compared to July at 1.7%

So far this year, it has accumulated 21.3%, this highlights the difficulty the Milei administration has had with reducing inflation as the aggregate in 2025 for August was 19.5%, primarily as a result of the very large increase of fuel costs from the ongoing hostilities in the Middle East.

Year-on-year inflation is 33.5% a difference of only 0.1% with 2025.

🇻🇪🇦🇷 "I was the prisoner of Diosdado": Nahuel Gallo calls for international arrest of those involved in his political imprisonment

Nahuel Gallo, an Argentine gendarme and former political prisoner who was arbitrarily detained in Venezuela for 448 days in the Rodeo I prison, has called on international justice to investigate and arrest at least 14 Venezuelan officials who are now part of the interim government supported by the United States.

Through interviews with the press and publications on social media, Gallo mentioned Diosdado Cabello—currently the Minister of Interior, Justice, and Peace—as the main person responsible for his arbitrary detention, torture, and human rights violations experienced in Venezuela.

"I was the prisoner of Diosdado," he stated.

He also mentioned the names of Tarek William Saab, Javier Marcano Tábata, Alexander Granko Arteaga, and Judge Carlos Enrique Liendo Acosta.

In addition, President Javier Milei instructed Economy Minister Toto Caputo to prioritize the development of the Integrated Naval Base in Ushuaia and other strategic projects in the 2027 Budget to strengthen national security and the defense of Argentine sovereignty.

🇮🇱🤝🇦🇷❌🇬🇧 — Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir calls on Israeli Prime-Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to recognize the Falklands Islands as an "Argentine territory under British occupation":

It is time for the State of Israel to publicly acknowledge that the Malvinas Islands are Argentine territory under occupation—territory that the British have violently stolen from the Argentine people.

The British are not content merely with occupying the territory; they also conduct oil drilling operations there and steal money from the Argentine people.

I call upon Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to recognize Argentina's sovereignty over the Malvinas Islands and to impose sanctions on Great Britain as long as the occupation continues.
