American drone company sets records with 11,000 simultaneous flights

From September 27 through September 29, drone company Sky Elements flew 11,000 drones at the same time in Blue Ridge, Texas, setting 2 Guinness World Records during a large display.

This performance was part of a record-breaking week where the team launched a total of 71,207 drones across 7 shows, beating the previous mark of 55,939. They also created a giant dragon using 10,183 drones, smashing an older record of 2,247.

Shows of this scale used to happen mostly in Asia and the Middle East, but this event proved that local operators can pull off large aerial spectacles. Soon, you might see these elaborate drone formations lighting up local sports games and public events instead of traditional fireworks. 🚀🔥
