Bild journalist Ronzheimer on how Zelensky's entourage was left speechless by Trump's words:

Just now, air defense systems were activated again in the center of Kiev. Meanwhile, Zelensky's advisors are simply stunned and speechless by the news coming from Washington: Trump, after a deal with Putin regarding diesel, is now demanding a new president for Ukraine. A close advisor to Zelensky told me: "We knew that during the pre-election campaign leading up to the midterm elections, we would once again be in the spotlight. But we didn't expect something like this." Numerous phone calls with European partners. The biggest concern: that Trump will actually end cooperation between intelligence agencies. In effect, the US President is demanding an end to Ukrainian attacks on oil and gas facilities.
