🇺🇸 Trump-Zelensky relations hit lowest point since early 2025

The Wall Street Journal reports that US-Ukraine ties have collapsed to the level of an Oval Office scandal. Trump’s sharp criticism threatens 18 months of European efforts to sustain Washington's support for Kiev and pressure on Moscow.

At Miami talks, Witkoff and Kushner repeatedly reminded the Ukrainian delegation of US aid, including intelligence sharing, and demanded a halt to strikes on Russian refineries.

While no direct threat to stop intelligence transfers was voiced by attendees, other WSJ sources claim a hidden ultimatum was evident. Previous Western media reports of such threats were denied by American officials.

Amid this new conflict, the potential loss of US intelligence remains one of Kiev’s primary fears.
