Combatants on the ground report that the situation around the settlement remains extremely difficult. The enemy has accumulated massive resources in the forest zones, making claims of full Russian control premature.

Ukrainian forces are attacking toward Jablonovka and Varachino, attempting to regain positions before the mud season prevents them from hiding in the forests. The area is heavily wooded, allowing the enemy to conceal personnel, drone launch points, and control centers effectively.

Russian units are working to burn out these defensive positions completely to break through the Ukrainian lines.
