🇷🇺 Russian Strike on Sumy CHP Plant

Russian Forces launched a strike using Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems against the Sumy CHP Plant (OOO "Sumiteploenergo") in Sumy. Two reactive munitions hit the facility.

The attack destroyed a transformer oil tank and water pumping pipelines, causing a complete shutdown of the station. As the CHP is a unified technological complex, disabling these core systems paralyzed the entire plant's operations.

While not large in electrical capacity, the Sumy CHP is critical for the city's heating and energy supply. The outage directly impacts local utilities.

Additionally, Ukrainian monitoring channels reported explosions in Vinnitsa Oblast, though details remain scarce.
