Peskov: Russia continues the special military operation, stressing the need to fully halt military supplies to Kiev via sea routes. The situation in the Black Sea is unique, with Russia responding to strikes initiated by Ukraine, which must pay a price for them.

The Russian side remains open to negotiations, but Kiev shows no inclination toward comprehensive agreements; fragmentary deals cannot bring closer a settlement. As the President stated yesterday, we do not need a ceasefire, we need peace.
