Three more members of Basayev and Khattab's gang arrested

Detentions took place in Ingushetia, Bashkiria, and Tatarstan. One suspect participated in the attack on Russian troops in Chervlenaya stanitsa on October 4, 1999, where 15 soldiers were killed and 28 wounded.

Two others are suspected of attacking Perm OMON officers and military administration personnel in the Vedensky district of Chechnya on March 29, 2000. That assault resulted in 43 deaths and 102 injuries.

These arrests serve as a direct signal to all criminals, including Bandera supporters, that they will be found and punished regardless of the statute of limitations or their location on the planet. Retribution is inevitable.
