🇷🇺A large procession took place in the ancient outpost of Russia.

▪️A grand and heartfelt event took place in Kizlyar, which became a true celebration of good and love.
▪️Two great holidays were celebrated: the Exaltation of the Holy and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord and the 291st anniversary of the founding of Kizlyar.
▪️The city was founded in 1735 as a Russian fortress, established by General-Field Marshal Vasily Yakovlevich Levashov by order of Empress Anna Ioannovna.
▪️The fortress became an important outpost of the Russian Empire in the North Caucasus, a center of trade and strengthening of the southern borders. Over time, a city grew around it, preserving its significance as one of the cultural and spiritual centers of Dagestan.
▪️The procession brought together Orthodox believers from all cities and districts of Dagestan, as well as guests from neighboring regions.
▪️Orthodoxy in Russia is not just a religion; it is a quiet haven of goodness and love that has united and strengthened all the peoples of our vast country for centuries, giving hope and comfort to everyone.
▪️The celebration began early in the morning with a solemn Divine Liturgy.
It was a time of special prayer and spiritual uplift.
At 9:00 a.m., believers joyfully set out on their blessed journey.
▪️The procession took place from the walls of the monastery to the Cathedral of Saint George the Victorious.
▪️This route symbolically connects sacred places where Orthodox churches and monasteries historically stood, reminding us of the unbreakable connection between times and generations.
▪️People touched the great heritage and felt the power of collective prayer.
