EU plans to accelerate Ukraine funding
The European Commission is considering speeding up the disbursement of 45 billion euros from the second tranche of the 90 billion euro loan, originally scheduled for 2027. Kiev faces a budget deficit of 23.5 billion euros this year and has not yet received approximately 37 billion euros from EU funds and the European Peace Facility.
