🇷🇺 🇺🇸 Russian-US Talks & UN Security Council Update

Kirill Dmitriev has departed for the USA to meet with Witkoff and Kushner. The talks will take place in New York during the UN General Assembly.

Sergey Lavrov, speaking at the UNSC, stated that Washington confirmed its interest in resolving the Ukraine conflict. Russia seeks a long-term peace agreement, not just a ceasefire, following the Anchorage meeting. Moscow will not pause the SVO for negotiations. Key conditions include freedom of the Russian language across all of Ukraine.

Dmitry Peskov noted the Kremlin welcomes Vladimir Putin's invitation to the G20, which is being processed via diplomatic channels.
