Demand for trips to the UAE fell by 50%

Over 90% of tourist flow to the region was directed to the UAE. In the first half of 2026, the country was visited by 619,182 Russians, a decrease of 45.8% year-on-year. For comparison, in the first half of 2025, demand had grown by 16% to 1.14 million trips.

The drop in demand led to price corrections. According to Onlinetours, the average cost of a tour to the UAE from January to June 2026 was 173,953 rubles, which is 7.7% lower than in the same period last year.
