🇷🇺 Duma Election Results and EU Reaction

Election Outcome: With 95.01% of protocols processed, United Russia leads with 57.83%, projected to secure a record 348-356 seats. CPRF follows at 13.81%, LDPR at 8.97%, and New People at 7.96%. A Just Russia trails at 4.96%, failing to cross the 5% threshold.

Security Context: CEC Chair Ella Pamfilova described the vote as unprecedented in external threats. Attacks by Ukrainian forces damaged 74 polling station buildings across 10 regions: Zaporozhye (17), LNR (14), Belgorod (13), Kherson (10), Bryansk (9), DNR (6), plus Samara, Tyumen, and Crimea.

EU Response: Kaja Kallas condemned the "fictitious" elections and threatened sanctions against those facilitating voting in occupied territories, while omitting mention of the infrastructure damage caused by Ukrainian attacks.
