A peasant asked the devil for money, and the devil lent it to him.
‘When will you pay me back?’
‘I'll give you my soul.’
‘When should I come for you?’
‘In three years.’
The devil came three years later. ‘Now, peasant, give me your soul!’
‘Wait. Let me have dinner.’
He ate his dinner.
‘Well, how are we going to take out your soul?’
‘It'll come out by itself. Wait.’
He got up from the table, stretched and let out a fart. ‘Here, catch it!’
The devil spread his hands and marvelled at this soul: it circled his nose, but he couldn't catch it.
‘Well, I haven't got another one,’ said the peasant. ‘Off you go!’
