Hezbollah is returning to areas from which the Israeli army withdrew: the experience in southern Lebanon has failed.

According to a report from Daily Alert, Hezbollah operatives, posing as civilians, are present in areas of southern Lebanon included in the Israeli army's withdrawal plan.

The Israeli military establishment estimates that the Lebanese army is not operating effectively enough to uncover the organization's weapons and infrastructure, and that Hezbollah is returning to the evacuated areas.

A Lebanese official warned that this highlights the necessity of disarming Hezbollah before any further Israeli withdrawal.
