💊 PUMP hits the top of trending charts – is this just the beginning?

Pump.fun has become the cultural engine of meme coins on Solana. Since launching in early 2024, it’s powered the creation of over 6 million tokens – including PNUT, GOAT, FARTCOIN, and others – accounting for more than 70% of all meme launches on Solana.

This July, the hype reached new heights with the public sale of the PUMP token. The project has raised $1.32B in total (including $200M from Multicoin Capital) and is now valued at $4B. During the token sale, 15% went to retail and 18% to funds – with the $600M round selling out in just 11 minutes.

So, what’s PUMP for?
While PUMP isn’t required to use the platform, it acts as a brand asset, engagement tool, and access pass for promotions, giveaways, and ecosystem involvement – signaling a shift toward a more formally structured meme economy.

📈 Can it go higher?
Many believe ignoring Pump.fun right now is a mistake. Volumes and social momentum suggest the market is locked in. Even if the hype feels overdone, the cycle isn’t over – and this could be the breakout project of the onchain wave.

⏺ The project’s reputation is divisive, with some calling it toxic and confrontational.

This July, we’re once again seeing a spike in search activity around crypto projects – a clear sign that retail investors are actively exploring the market. But unlike previous cycles, there’s no dominant sector. Google Trends shows rising interest in both top 100 tokens and lesser-known assets.
