DR. JOHN LITTELL: COVID PATIENTS WERE ABANDONED BY A HEALTHCARE SYSTEM THAT DEMANDED COMPLIANCE

At Sen. Ron Johnson’s roundtable on COVID-19 hospital protocols, Dr. John Littell described what doctors were being told to do during the height of the Delta wave.

He cited guidance sent to 2,000 doctors at an Orlando hospital that recommended against hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, ivermectin and other treatments — while recommending the routine use of remdesivir.

“This is the protocol that the doctors were following lockstep.”

Littell chose a different path.

“We can’t afford to be lukewarm. Our motivation needs to be advocates for those patients who are abandoned by our healthcare system.”
