This Sunday, we’ll take a break from all the drama and seriousness and dive into a fresh road movie about two best buddies — an American pilot played by Ryan Reynolds and a retired KGB agent obsessed with American culture, played by Kenneth Branagh.

No brain required, and there’s not much seriousness to be found here either.

Experimental Animation: Why Is It Important to Stay in Search?

Invisible Friends animation studio is about to start a new academic year — a good reason to meet, watch, and talk about experimental animation.

We’ll watch fresh works by the school’s curators and students.
Behind every work there is a search — for an idea, a form, a tone, or a way to tell a story.

We’ll talk about:
• what the authors were looking for, why they were looking for it, and how they searched while creating each work;
• what happens when familiar solutions don’t work;
• how to understand where to go next;
• whether it is possible to learn to stay in the process of searching instead of trying to find the “right” answer too quickly.
It will be a conversation about the creative process, experiments, and how to learn to search.
This is exactly what our course is about.

Our friends Chognari dogs need our help.

Until recently the puppies could stay for free on the grounds of the shelter.

After complaints from neighbours local authorities banned keeping dogs there.

As a result 6 dogs were left without a place to go while our existing boarding costs remain.

We now need 5,130 GEL per month to keep everyone safe:
- 3,870 ₾ for existing boarding
- 1,260 ₾ to accommodate the 6 dogs with nowhere to go

At the same time, we're looking for free foster and permanent homes.
Every foster we find lowers our monthly costs.
Every home we find frees up resources to save another dog.
