A threat actor gained admin permissions, allowing them to mint an unlimited amount of tokens and swap them for Ethereum.
The attacker initially stole 245 ETH (~$537K), later draining an additional ~$2M across multiple cryptocurrencies.

⚠️JUST IN: CoW was compromised via a threat actor impersonating a staff member
Per CoW, a crypto wallet drainer was installed and seed phrases from affected users were harvested.
CoW has advised users to move funds to a new wallet and revoke all approvals.
