🔴JUST IN: A bitcoin investor who’d been growing their portfolio for 390 days has been drained for 2.6 WBTC ($235k)

They consistently deposited between $5k and $120k each month and never withdrew. During a swap, they fell victim to a phishing site that drained the entire balance.

🇬🇧JUST IN: UK to track all crypto transactions on exchanges

Starting January 1, all exchanges will be required to collect full transaction data from UK users and send it to HMRC.

Platforms like Coinbase, Binance, Kraken and other major services, including most online crypto wallets, will be included.

⚠️JUST IN: Two insider officers who helped callers launder $186M crypto have been arrested

The criminals who stole $186M through social engineering paid two officers $59K, $7.5K and luxury goods to unfreeze crypto accounts, leak case info, and connect them with law enforcement members.

⚠️JUST IN: Upbit’s CEO has issued a public apology after the recent $36M exploit.

He says all user losses will be fully covered and that Upbit is now adding additional security measures to prevent future incidents.

This is the second time the exchange has been exploited the previous hacker stole $60M in ETH.

⚠️JUST IN: Chrome extensions for trading Solana memecoins are activately ratting users.

They store your wallet’s public key and, on every swap, silently add a second instruction that sends SOL from your wallet to theirs.

We advise uninstalling any random or unknown extensions if you use Phantom, Exodus, or similar wallets.

⚠️JUST IN: NBA star Josh Hart was robbed inside a hotel, with thieves stealing $185K worth of watches and jewelry.

The burglars broke into his room and stole his duffle bag which stored three luxury watches and an iced-out bracelet. No arrests have been made.

Coinbase is currently dealing with an issue where all on-chain receiving transactions are stuck.

Deposits are currently stuck and incoming funds may not appear in user accounts right away. Transactions made within the last 30 minutes are not affected.

⚠️JUST IN: Terraform Labs founder, who’s facing criminal charges tied to the $40B fraud, asked the judge for a 5-year sentence.

He’s already forfeited $19M in crypto and real estate assets in hopes of reducing his time. The judge rejected the request, and he’s now looking at up to 40 years in South Korea and 12 years in the US.

The service gives members faster support, easier cash deposits and withdrawals, custom investment options, access to loans, safer asset storage and private market updates.

Requirements: $10M in cryptocurrency. Since Binance is centralized, they will most likely check where the funds came from before granting access.
