⚠️JUST IN: The largest individual ETH holder with 250,000 ETH ($775M) has lost access to the private key controlling his wallet.

The funds are now permanently locked. He had been holding since 2015 and was one of the biggest early investors in Ethereum.

Countries where criminals are likely to be arrested: 🇳🇱Netherlands, 🇺🇸US, 🇫🇷France, 🇸🇬Singapore.

Countries where criminals rarely face punishment due to weak enforcement or lack of care to crypto cases: 🇳🇬Nigeria, 🇮🇳India, 🇨🇦Canada, 🇬🇧UK, 🇷🇺Russia.

I apologize for the lack of posts today. I’ve spent the past few hours with police after my Trezor was stolen at a private airport lounge.

No funds were lost since I use a passphrase wallet, but it’s been a long day figuring out what happened. I looked away for a moment to refill my cup, and both my Trezor and wallet were gone.
